Volunteer

There’s a place for you

Enterprise for Equity volunteers help local entrepreneurs find support, think through important decisions, and keep moving forward.

Volunteers serve in different capacities. Each role is clear, supported, and connected to real people building businesses in our community.

Bring your time, your experience, or simply your willingness to show up. We’ll help you find where it fits.

Market Outreach

A morning at the market. A doorway for someone building a business.

Many of our prospective students are already out there setting up tables at markets, talking with customers, testing products, and learning what works. Some are ready for more support but do not know that support exists.

Market Outreach Volunteers help make that connection.

You’ll visit local markets and community events, talk briefly with vendors, and share information about Enterprise for Equity’s free business training and coaching. No pressure. Just a friendly, respectful invitation for small business owners who may be ready for a next step.

If you love local markets and care about the people building businesses in our community, this is a simple and fun way to make a difference.

Business Mentors

Coming Soon!

Bring your experience. Build a relationship. Help someone chart their own course.

Starting and growing a business can be deeply rewarding and deeply isolating. Many E4E graduates are making important decisions without easy access to experienced people they can think things through with.

Business Mentors bring hard-earned experience into an ongoing relationship with a local entrepreneur. You might help someone sort through a financial decision, strengthen a business plan, think through a partnership, improve their systems, or decide what comes next.

E4E provides orientation, clear boundaries, thoughtful matching, and ongoing staff support. Your role is to listen, ask useful questions, and offer perspective that helps grads move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

This is a good fit for experienced entrepreneurs and former business owners who want to put what they’ve learned to work in a direct, personal, and meaningful way.
